In this episode, host Greggy has a great time connecting with Sammie Barlow, dedicated Sprint Kayak enthusiast, 2016 Olympic Trial finalist, and someone with her eyes set on the 2020 Olympic team. She also helps represent Epic Canoe and Kayak on the west coast.

This is a fun one! Sammie is an amazing human being, with a great soul. She shares some fantastic stories, such as growing up as the daughter of Olympic paddler Chris Barlow and being put in a canoe before she could even hold a paddle. What it's like to get drug-tested at world levels. The difference between surf-skis and kayaks, and how traveling with a paddle (in a gun-case) can get you some extra attention. You're going to laugh for sure.

The Paddler's Pulse with Chris Hill

Amazing topics include: Why is a paddler like a coke can? What does it mean to avoid the quit? The importance of posture. Great tips for functional movement. Know the difference between a dead bug, and hollow rock. We discuss the Salton Sea Race (The Noth Shore Extreme) coming up and its founder Tevita Moce.

And who wouldn't want to know the difference between a Molokai change coach and an accountant?

If you paddle any craft, you will really enjoy hanging out with Chris Hill and talking about this passion of paddling that we all share.
